The order of selected items in multiple field cells seems to be quite random. It would be really nice if the order determined under options in the edit field form would be retained in the cells.
In most cases the order of items in multi-value field types reflects the order in which items were added. It should be preserved when displaying contents of those fields. Could you elaborate more in which cases this order is not preserved?
