Adding Fields to synced tables

When a table is synced and one adds fields to the source table, should they be seen in the destination table?

Hi @fulcrum, at the moment the answer is no - the fields won’t be added automatically. You will need to adjust the sync settings of the synced table if you want to also get information from the newly added field.

However, we discussed recently that such feature could exist in the future when users select “all fields” to be synced. So I think there is a good chance we will see such feature in Baserow.

Hi, they don’t appear in the sync settings to even select. I’ve had to delete and resync the table again. Or do you think they should? Thanks

I’d expect that all fields should be visible in the sync options and would argue it is a bug, periodic sync or not. You should be able to pick any field for the sync at any time manually.
