Love the dashboard implementation, so easy!

I’m sure these are on the list, just a bit surprised they weren’t at launch:

  • Widget resizing
  • Drag/Drop (or really any method) to rearrange widgets
  • Prefix/Affix values (i.e., add $ sign)

Baserow strikes again with the self-hosted but still paid feature for charts… annoying, but I get it. Still love everything you do.

Hey @vulture, thank you for the feedback! I’ll make sure the suggestions you mentioned are already on the roadmap. :raised_hands:

Thanks, Olga!

While I’m here:

  • Automated/scheduled snapshots
  • Sharing/view options (i.e., public view link)
  • Daily/Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly email to chosen people with dashboard content

Noted! Thanks @vulture :raised_hands:

Always look forward to these updates. The changes are always so helpful. Quick suggestion: please add the ability to add environment variables to Baserow that can be used across all webhooks etc. The problem is that very often in a Webhook, you need to add a header with some sort of value. Let’s say you have 20 webhooks that require that same header value, so you enter that value 20 times. But, then lets say the value changes? You need to edit and find every Webhook that uses that value. Obviously, going to be a mess. That’s why you need global environment variables that you can access in many parts of the application.

Thank you for your feedback, @ddsgad! I’ll check with the team about your request. :raised_hands:

Would be cool to say if a feature is free or premium on the announcement

Thank you for your feedback @darkador, I’ll be adding these details for the future release announcements. :slightly_smiling_face:

Hey @vulture, here are updates on your feature requests:

  • Widget resizing
  • Drag/Drop (or really any method) to rearrange widgets

We already have this issue: Grid system for dashboards (#3212) · Issues · Baserow / baserow · GitLab

  • Prefix/Affix values (i.e., add $ sign)

Here is an issue: Prefix/Affix values for Dashboards (#3577) · Issues · Baserow / baserow · GitLab

  • Automated/scheduled snapshots
  • Daily/Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly email to chosen people with dashboard content

These two requests should be addressed with the Workflow Automation module in the future. :slightly_smiling_face:

  • Sharing/view options (i.e., public view link)

We have an issue: Public sharing support (#3213) · Issues · Baserow / baserow · GitLab

Thank you for sharing your ideas :raised_hands:

Hi @ddsgad, I’ve checked with the team about your request. We don’t think we’ll implement it at this time since it would overcomplicate the UI. If we see more people asking for this feature, we’ll discuss it again. :raised_hands:

Hi!

First time writing! Thanks for doing a great job, recently switched from Airtable and I’m happy not to be forced into starting the week on sunday, having no suffixes for currency.

On the Dashboard topic I have a few ideas, perhaps some already planned:

Line chart would be amazing, to track progress over time, or fill rate over time!

Hello @Caesar, welcome to the Baserow community!

Line charts are currently under development :slightly_smiling_face:
