Application form not working?

Are you using our SaaS platform (Baserow.io) or self-hosting Baserow?

SaaS

What are the exact steps to reproduce this issue?

I’ve got a form in an application that I’ve been using with no trouble since early Jan 2026. The submit button triggers three events: create a row, refresh the data, open a page.

When I clicked submit today, it gave me “unexpected” errors for all three, two of which have expandable “details” available. For the create a row event, it says “the requested workflow action doesn’t exist.” For the refresh data event, it says “the requested data_source does not exist.” (Side note: the errors that pop up disappear very quickly, so I had to resubmit the form multiple times to be able to expand them and screenshot them.)

I’ve got the table that is the data_source in question open in another window, so I know it exists, and I double checked that it’s attached to the form in the application.

Did something happen on the backend that broke my form??

Here are the relevant screenshots – for some reason it wouldn’t let me upload them so I’m pasting them in here.

Hey @olive2punk thanks for reporting.

Yeah we’ve just release a big versions update and we might have some regressions despite our efforts to test everything.

Would it be possible to give us more details like a screenshot of the actions configuration, the configuration of the data source and the content of the page? You may use community forum private messages if necessary.

Even better if you could export the application (without the data) or invite me to your workspace temporarly.

Thanks.

I’d be happy to export the application without data but I don’t know how to do that and I don’t see an obvious menu option… How do I do that?

Alternatively, I can invite you to my workspace but I think I’ll need your email for that (sorry if it’s obvious somewhere and I’m not seeing it).

It’s not obvious I agree: visit the home page of your workspace and open the menu at the top of the page.

It looks like that:

Choose export and you’ll have the option to export only the application.

I was wondering, have you tried to republish it?

I tried republishing it yesterday, when I double checked the data source linked to the form page. I haven’t tried today. I did just try to use the form again and it didn’t work and I got a new error. I’ve got a few fields that require a number if used and one of them (which is not a required field and was left blank) returned an “Invalid” error that “None is not a valid number.” (Sorry, I didn’t get a screenshot.)

I just exported my application (thank you for the instructions!) but it won’t let me send it to you in a message, as the .zip extension isn’t a supported file type. How can I get it to you?

Hello @olive2punk,

I work alongside @jrmi and can take a look at your application. Would you mind emailing it to peter@baserow.io?

Cheers,

Just sent it! Thank you

Hello again – we’ve also noticed that on the form when we use the calendar selector tool for entering dates, it sometimes adds a day to our selection. So, for example, when we click on Feb 22, it populates the field with Feb 23. I figured it was worth letting y’all know, since you’re poking at the application!

Good morning @olive2punk,

Just sent it! Thank you

Thank you for sending this across! Would you mind sharing the database that the application relies on, too? You can just send the structure, with no data in it.

This should be resolved on baserow.io. When did you discover this bug? Would you mind trying that again when you have a moment?

Cheers,

Peter Evans

Just sent over everything, structure only. I included the application & automation, just in case.

I don’t remember exactly when we discovered the date shifting bug… it does seem to be resolved when I try using my form today, so yay!

Cheers,
Ollie

Hi @olive2punk,

Thanks for sending the second export, I’ve identified the problem. For privacy reasons, I’ll reply with more detail in an email.
