Automation Limits with no warning!

I got an 80% automation quota warning yesterday. I wasn’t aware that limits had been put in place, but I immediately disabled my less-critical automations. I couldn’t find any indication to determine how this was being measured or what level I was out. (Something like the rows in use meter on on 'My Dashboard" homepage would be great). But I would have appreciated some heads up that the limits were being put in place to allow us to adjust, or at least a grace period before automations were cut off.

I rely on automations to keep my data accurate and various tables in sync. Now that my automations aren’t working, my automated emails aren’t going out, but more importantly my data is now becoming corrupt.

I am in the process of trying to move to self-hosted with an upgraded plan, but this rapid change makes this a tougher sell to management. I have been reinforcing the reliability of the system and consistency – having the system stop working with just a few hours warning makes this more difficult.

I can’t find documentation on this limitation. When does it reset? How is it calculated? How do we track our usage?

Hey @danielgoad,

We’re very sorry for the confusion and inconvenience. We rolled out the automation limits before the pricing update and related information were fully available, which understandably caused confusion. The pricing page has now been updated with the relevant details.

To apologize, we’d like to provide your workspace with a free month of the Advanced plan, which includes free 50,000 automation credits, so you can get your workflows up and running again.

Could you send us your workspace ID in a private message? We’ll enable it for you as soon as we receive it.

Thanks for your patience, and again, we’re sorry for the disruption.
