Backspace Breaking

Hi everyone,

Recently, I have more and more issues with backspace key and del key not working in a table, which is quite annoying. I found some old changelogs from 1.11 where this was supposed to be fixed.

My Baserow is self-hosted with the table containing only text, no files.

A complete restart of the docker image solves this, but this can’t be a long-term solution.

If that’s the same issue, then we are already working on it and @davide has an open MR for it :slight_smile:

Hi @Max1,

thank you for reporting it. Yes, I’m working on something with very similar symptoms and the fix will probably be part of the next release.

Anyway, I have a couple of questions to be sure it’s the same bug:

  • does refreshing the page fix the problem?
  • in what context does the backspace stop working (e.g. editing a cell value, a formula, a field name)?
  • it’s just for one particular table or all of them?

Could you please provide more detailed information about your table structure and when this bug starts annoying you?
