Welcome to a very special edition of the Baserow Community Digest!

Baserow 2.0 is officially live — this is our biggest release yet, marking the moment Baserow becomes a full AI-powered data collaboration platform, bringing databases, applications, automations, and AI together in one secure, open-source environment.

Baserow began as a open-source no-code database.

With version 2.0, it becomes a connected platform for building internal tools, automating workflows, and using AI as a working teammate — all without leaving your workspace.

Here’s a quick overview of the major features included in this release:

  • Kuma — AI Assistant
  • Automations Builder (beta)
  • AI-powered workflows & AI actions
  • Date dependencies for task timelines
  • Two-factor authentication (2FA)

  • AI field upgrades:
  • Auto-regenerate when referenced fields change
  • Advanced inputs (operators, data references, functions)
