Is it possible to color with a filter condition a specific column?
For e.g. I need to modify the color of due date column (with red color) when the due date coincides with the actual date and from there on.

You can assign a border color or a background color to row based on one or multiple conditions. However, it is not possible to assign the color only to a certain column.

As a workaround, you could make a formula that checks the values of your due date column. It can show an emoji when the due date is today or any day after. Here’s an example:
