Hi, I love the gallery view! I am creating a gallery of images, each image with some text metadata fields. I have filters based on those fields. This works alright in my ‘English’ installation. I want to be able to offer this view to my users in an Indian language/script as the users may not be understand English. Is it possible for me to customize the ‘Filter’, ‘Sort’ labels on the UI ? I don’t want the entire backend app builder interface to be in a different script, only I will use it and English is fine. I would like to be able to customize the labels for the published views visible publicly.
Appreciate any inputs on this - pecifically for this question, as well as any tips on creating multilingual views. Thank you!
Good morning @chandra!
The gallery view is a database module feature. Are you referring to being able to publicly share views, and let users apply filters/sorts on it? If you are, there isn’t a plan to allow you to configure this language, the language shown will be what the Baserow instance language is set to.
If you are referring to the application builder however, we are planning to allow element labels to be configured in different languages, you can track this in issues such as #2990.
Have a great day!

Dear @picklepete, thank you. I meant the gallery view, and I understand what you say. Let me explore if I can get what I want done from the app builder. I’ll keep an eye on the issue 2990. Thanks again.
PS: Apologies for the database vs app builder mixup. I am very new to baserow and learning.
My pleasure @chandra! I hope you enjoy working with the application builder. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask
Cheers,
Peter Evans
