I use a dark theme for my operating system and web browser, Baserow is the one application I currently use which doesn’t have a native dark theme.

In the meantime, you may enjoy using an extension like Dark Reader. No ads, doesn’t send your data anywhere, and is fully open source.

I tried this extension and there’s some issues like the scrollbars blending into the background, thanks I look forward to seeing this implemented.
It would be great to have dark mode natively in the baserow. Since I use the operating system in dark mode, all screens are dark, and only the baserow is light.
Hi folks! We’ve noticed many users requesting dark mode, so we’re evaluating the development effort required. If it’s primarily a matter of color changes, we’ll try to make it a priority. I’ll keep you updated. 
Have checked back on this thread numerous times over the months and years; want to just unabashedly bump this. Am tracking the issue in GitLab also!
Hey @selfreliant, thank you for the input — all votes count! Our designer will start looking into this task soon. Depending on the development scope, if the changes are mostly related to colors, we’ll try to add dark mode as soon as possible.

With the aim of providing feedback and offering some interesting ideas, I’m attaching a prototype that includes an enhancement to the current dark theme implementation and an idea for a new function:
- Dark color palette based on Baserow’s brand identity.
- Zen Mode: Focus on rows or columns in editing.
