Hi, I’m creating a really simple overview page containing a table of sales orders and the data in the table suddenly packed its bags and ran away and I can’t figure out why.
Set up details: I am using the cloud based version of Baserow. The table is connected to a Baserow Table (Sales 2025) and to a view on that table (S_Overview) this is sorted by creation date and no other filters or sorts exist on the data source. The page is restricted by a log in page that directs to the overview containing the table element.
The issue: I had the table working, everything was working as expected, the data all set up and looking the way I wanted it to. I navigated to the preview for the log in, tested the log in, all good. I was redirected to the page containing the table element, all good. Then I came back to the editor and all the data is gone. It is saying: Choose a data source and/or property to begin configuring your fields. Despite the source being selected in the drop down.
What I have tried: So far I’ve done my best to debug and find the cause with no luck. I have logged out/in, deleted browser data, used a different browser, double checked the data in the source table, renamed the source table, added new data to the source table, deleted and made a new datasheet connecting to the same table. None of this worked.
I then made a new data source to a different table, this worked. I duplicated the table and connected the duplicated version, this worked. So this issue only presents on the original table data source.
Extra things to note: Of course I could use the duplicated table and carry on with the data working, but the original table is connected to other external services like Google Looker Studio and Zapier, so tracking don and replacing all these connections would cause me a headache. On top of that, I’m concerned that this may just happen again with the new table since I don’t know what caused it, and that would present a real problem for future workflows, so fixing the original would be the priority here.
Thanks in advance for any help or advice you can offer, I hope I’ve explained the issue well enough but if further information is required, please let me know.
