What are the exact steps to reproduce this issue?
Hello everybody, i have created an application and a database for the company i work for. I am the only developper but i will be leaving soon. I tried to leave the project after adding my supervisor but when i did this, the application stopped working eventhough he became administrator. It became impossible to log in. The only solution that i’ve found so far is that my email stays on this project without a role. Also maybe it is important to mention that my supervisor recently purchased the advanced plan.
So my question is : Is there a way to quit the project such that the application keeps running without my address linked to this project ?
The tables in the app contain empty rows even though the database is full. When i went in the workspace to see if the link between the database and the app is still ok, it shows that there is no available options. And this is valid for all features of the app.
As you created the application, there’s a good chance that the Local Baserow integration (accessible by visiting your application → Settings → Integrations) was attached to your account.
When an application is created, or if you add data sources/user sources, the integration will be authorised with your account. This means that all reads, writes, and deletes are using your account.
If the application stopped working when you left, it’d be worth checking the Integrations list to see who is currently authorised on it.
If it looks like this:
… then a new authorised user is required. The new application owner simply needs to edit that integration and click Save, that’s it.
Be aware, though, as the warning in that form says, that the person who assumes the new authorised user responsibility needs to accept that all application changes will now be made using their account. It’s often a good idea to create a new user account for your application, so that you don’t end up giving the authorised user more permissions than is necessary.
