Is it possible to somehow allow the publicly shared grid view to be editable (change statuses by selecting with multiple select or adding comments)?
It would be so useful to give this access to customers so they can change statuses during the recruitment phases while they don’t have their own internal software.

A shared view is always read-only.
If you want to allow the user to make changes to the data, you will need to build an application around it or add them as members to your baserow workspace.
Baserow is working on an app builder for the moment, but meanwhile I can recommend Appsmith. It is an open source platform and you can easily add a table component simulating a public view, but with edit access.
