Email change to Baserow account

Is it possible to change the email address I used to sign up for a Baserow account?

And is it possible for the collaborators to my workplace to change their email address of their accounts?

Currently, to change an email address, you need to send a request to bram@baserow.io, and we’ll update it manually. We plan to automate this process in the future: User must be able to change email address / username (#1326) · Issues · Baserow / baserow · GitLab :slightly_smiling_face:

Your email address can be changed on Baserow by yourself. Click on the workspace in the top left corner, on “My settings“, “Change email“, and follow the instructions from there.

Is the feature request link still the same since the Github migration? I’d like to be able to tell clients when they will be able to change their emails. I am using a self-hosted Baserow using v1.35.2. Currently, only the creator of the Baserow instance can update email (via Menu > Admin tools). Other accounts, even if admin, cannot as they do not have access to this menu option).

I would also like to change a members email. Is that only possible when I send a message to bram@baserow.io like mentioned above in Oct. 2024?

@olgatrykush , it is a SaaS version hosted at your servers.

Then you’ll need to send an email to Bram. We’ll see if we can prioritize the issue so that it becomes possible to change the email from the account. :slightly_smiling_face:

Would you know by any chance if the workaround (Menu > Admin tools) being only accessible to the Baserow instance author - instead of all the admin roles - is expected or is a bug?

The workaround would be a great temporary solution for my clients. I am using a self-hosted Baserow v1.35.2.

Hey @Piksail, I’ve checked and this is an expected behavior. It’s an instance level admin feature where the email address can be changed.
