Hi everyone. Sorry for the vague heading. The kids we transport obviously are in a school but also in a hostel, so the 2 tables are linked by a Link to Table field.
In the child’s add/update form I want to select a school and then select a hostel. The hostel field must display only the hostels linked to the selected school. This is why the heading is a bit vague - are the fields drop-down, lookup or links? I’ve tried them all: Drop-down only allows hard-coded values, lookup displays all the values in the looked-up field and link is used to select the master record.
I use a link field for hostels too but it means choosing from hostels that do not belong to that school and therefor can lead to errors when users add or update the details.
In all the apps I previously used it was possible to filter a lookup field (which is a drop-down) by the value of a field on the current form, as seen in the 2 screenshots..
I am convinced this is possible in Baserow too.
