How do you gather and display statistics of your database?

Hello,

I’m using Baserow to collect applications through a web form. In the form I ask questions like gender, country of origin, and other fields that I would like to aggregate somewhere and then display on an analytics/stats page in the application builder.

I’m very new to Baserow and couldn’t find anything in the docs (apart from the count field) or forums regarding how people analyze the data they have in Baserow.

Very happy for any advice on how to aggregate the answers for example for gender and then show the ratio on an overview page with the application builder.

Hey @luckyhmm, you can try using this app from @joseph_appsmith to build the chart you need: Fastest and easiest way to make dashboards from Baserow data? Suggestions? - #2 by frederikdc, and then embed the results in the application using the iFrame element.

Thank you @olgatrykush. I can see an analytics dashboard is on the product roadmap, is there also a plan to support displaying analytics in pages built with the application builder?

Yes, as we develop the dashboard, we aim to create visual components that will eventually be compatible with the application builder. So At some point we should be able to create analytics directly inside the application builder.

When do you think there will be a chart option available in the application builder?

We don’t have precise plan for this feature yet. It means that we won’t have it before the end of the year for sure. My estimation is somewhere in the middle of 2025.
