How to Migrate from Self-Hosted to Cloud? Facing "Untrusted Signature" Error

Hello Baserow Team / Community,

What is the recommended way to migrate applications from a self-hosted Baserow instance to Baserow Cloud?

I tried exporting a .baserow file from my self-hosted instance and importing it into the Cloud (Free plan). However, I get the “Untrusted signature” error.

I understand the cause, but I don’t see options in the Cloud interface to trust my self-hosted key or disable the check (unlike in self-hosted admin settings).

Is direct import of a self-hosted .baserow file possible into the Cloud? Or is manually recreating structures and migrating data via CSV/JSON the only option?

Hi @yongs, welcome to the community.

Unfortunately, importing a self hosted instance to our cloud is not currently possible. Currently the only way would be as you mentioned by exporting and importing as CSV/JSON and recreating the field types and instance permission settings manually.

Hey @360Creators, this isn’t a bug but rather a limitation — we currently can’t allow migration from self-hosted to SaaS due to security reasons.
