How to sort cards in descending order (most recent on top) in Kanban view?

Are you using our SaaS platform (Baserow.io) or self-hosting Baserow?

What do you need help with?

Hello everyone,
I’m currently using a Kanban view for my project and I’m facing a sorting issue that I can’t seem to resolve.
My need:
I would like to display the most recent entries at the top of each column in my Kanban view (descending sort by creation or modification date).
The problem:
Currently, my cards are displayed with the oldest ones at the top, and I can’t find how to reverse this order in the view settings.
What I’ve already tried:

Checking the sort options in the view settings
[Add here what you’ve already attempted]

Does anyone know how to configure the sorting in a Kanban view to display the most recent items first? Is there an option I might have missed, or do I need to use a workaround?
Thanks in advance for your help

Hi @Kayaji,

I am not aware of any automatic sort for the Kanban view, so this would be a feature request

All right,

Thanks for the answer !

Hey @Kayaji, we have an issue open to add sorting for the Kanban view: Add sorting to the Kanban view · Issue #764 · baserow/baserow · GitHub. We’ll try to implement it in Q2. :slightly_smiling_face:
