What an exciting release - great work Baserow team!

Quick question now that the releases are starting to introduce “premium” features. The way it’s phrased in the documentation makes it seem like this is an early access program. Does that mean that these features will start out as premium and then eventually make it into the open source self-hosted version after some period of time (example: early access features remain in the premium version for a year and then are merged to the open source version)? Or is the thought these features will always remain behind a paywall?

Thanks for all you do, keep up the good work!

Welcome to the Baserow community @theloneforger, and thanks for your kind words! The premium version is in an early phase because we don’t yet have that much features to offer, we don’t even have a subscription system to get access to it. Some of the features will eventually end up in the open source version, but at the moment we don’t have specific plans for that. They won’t end up in the premium version anytime soon. At the moment we give GitHub sponsors early access, but within a couple of months there is going to be paywall and a subscription system to get access.
