2021 Macbook Pro M1 (16GB RAM)

I have not edited the quickstart settings

How I ran originally:

docker run \

Now I just start the container using the Docker UI
Note: I tried this with and without the “BASEROW_CADDY_ADDRESSES” flag

Navigate to any database table in the localhost UI
Observe “Reconnecting” notification in upper right hand corner
Try to edit Field settings (name or type)

Hello @richparks92,

I’m sorry to hear that Baserow is not working correctly for you. I’m not sure why the browser is issuing all those requests, considering there should be a delay after the first failed attempt.

Could you please try using the latest 1.23.0 image and, if the problem persists, read Debugging connection issues // Baserow and see if anything there can help fix your issue?

Thanks for replying. I tried with 1.23.0 and saw the same result. Didn’t see anything in the Debugging connection issues // Baserow post that helped.

Is there a tool I can use to check to see if there’s some kind of underlying web socket or port issue? I want to see if I can isolate the issue.

Actually @davide I was able to figure it out. I just switched the localhost protocol to https for the Baserow public URL and Caddy Addresses environment variables:
--env=BASEROW_PUBLIC_URL=https://localhost --env=BASEROW_CADDY_ADDRESSES=https://localhost

I’m not seeing the “reconnecting” issue or the rampant websocket requests so I think I’m good here. Thanks again.
