I have really missed having datafields in the Grid being Mandatory - it would really help to enforce user data integrity.
I understand the issue of inserting the record on entry of the first datafield…and I know that you can enforce mandatory on the Form method. I can default say “Mandatory” in text fields in cae they are left null but presume that appears after the record is inserted ?
If I go to the trouble of creating a FORM and identifying about 6-7 of them are mandatory would it be possible at least to put a message/label/ on the GRID screen title block or in the datafield itself so when the cursor is in that datafield is says “Mandatory” or displays say a red Exclamation Mark in the field ?
