Markdown support to edit Field Data of File Fields

Hallo,

I created a File Field, and would like to edit the data (name of the files).
After clicking on the pencil icon of the slide show view, I can change the text,

BUT, is it possible to use markdown syntax, for example, to dive the text into more than one line?

Hello @PPAA, it’s not possible to use Markdown syntax to edit descriptions of files yet. I’ve changed the category of this post to “Feature ideas”, and we will discuss this request with the team. :raised_hands:

Hey @PPAA, Just want to let you know that I’ve checked with the team and currently, we don’t have any plans to add markdown support to the file field type. :pensive:
