Opening field that has been looked up

I’ve imported an airtable base that has lookup fields. In this case, I’ve assigned a “question” to a “position”. I then set up a “meeting” in a third table with the “position” and I do a lookup for the questions associated with the position. When I’m in the meeting, I click on the question and it brings up the question record.

In Baserow, I can’t click on the question that’s been linked in the lookup field. Is there a work around?

Hi @eakaplan, that’s indeed not currently possible. I’ll discuss with the team about making it possible to click and open the lookup fields. :slightly_smiling_face:

Thank you. It’s a key way I interact with my Airtable databases. Clicking through several layers of lookups can be an efficient way to work. I’d be happy to demo the workflow for you or the developers.

Hi @eakaplan! Great news—your feature request has been accepted and will be added to our development pipeline! :ok_hand:
