What are the exact steps to reproduce this issue?

Hello, I am unable to run or publish any automation actions in my workspace.

What I have already checked:

  • workflow history is empty
  • other workflows are paused
  • I created a brand new workflow and still get the same error
  • duplicating workflows also fails
  • the message says: “Couldn’t start action. You cannot start any more of these actions as you have others still running in the background.”

This appears to be a stuck automation lock or background worker issue in the workspace.

Please can you clear the stuck automation state or advise how to reset it?

Hey @sentinel, my apologies for the inconvenience. We’ve had some problems with the long-running tasks like exporting, duplicating, automations, webhooks, etc. These tasks could fail if they were assigned to a worker that was unable to connect to the database. These problems have now been resolved.
