I’ve recently come across Baserow and I’m hoping it will be the solution to my needs. I’ve taken over a business that had poor inventory management and I’m looking to rectify this.
For the most part it’s a standard inventory management system that’s needed, but the flow of inventory is causing a problem in other systems I’ve tested.
There are two places for inventory to be stored, either in the picking bins or in the bulk overflow area. When an order is placed on the system, I need the system to determine the quantity in the picking bin, and if there isn’t enough, the system will allocate what it can from the picking bin location, then move a quantity (usually 100) from the excess area to the picking bins and allocate the remainder from there.
The system will then place the item on order with the supplier if necessary.
In the help pages, I’ve found loads of information regarding reporting calculations, but can’t find any information about the type of automation I need.
