Have you considered adding another role level that can add and edit entries but not delete them, and/or can’t edit rows created by other users?
I would love this for new users to mitigate the damage they could do to the database.

Hey @FrancoisS, as far as I remember, there were some discussions about adding custom roles for RBAC. I’ll check with the team to make sure.
Hey @FrancoisS, I’ve checked with the team, and we do plan to introduce custom permissions: Customize permissions per roles for RBAC (#2684) · Issues · Baserow / baserow · GitLab. Admins will be able to create new roles and select the permissions they want to include.
Ok, but this does not cover @FrancoisS ‘s wish. And now actually I’m searching for the same:
Is it possible to give a user creation permissions, but not deletion permissions?
I guess, if not yet, then it wouldn’t be such a big hurdle, to implement this feature since the API-keys are already supporting this feature ![]()
Hey @kuechleo, let me check this with the team ![]()
Hey @kuechleo, we think it might be possible to add user creation permissions—but not deletion permissions—when we implement this feature: Customize permissions per roles for RBAC (#2684). We can’t say for sure yet, as we haven’t started the technical evaluation of this feature.
