This is a tangential feature request regarding sorting, but it would also be convenient to have the ability to sort for Links to table as well (and indeed, multi-selects). In that case, this would need to be an option for the field, not via a function.
Noted! Thank you for your feedback @Yam. I think it would be best if we add the SORT function first (as it might require less development work), and have the separate issue of adding sorting for the Lookup/Rollup fields. What do you think?
Hoping that this will get implemented soon - It’s the biggest limitation that I can see.
I’d also very much appreciate a unique rollup.
Hi @olgatrykush, any update on the ARRAYUNIQUE rollup formula?
Not yet @gabrielle — I’ll check with the team to see if it’s on the shortlist. ![]()
Hey @gabrielle, we’ll try to prioritize this feature to be released in Q1 or Q2. ![]()
Awesome! Can’t wait ![]()
Thanks for adding array_unique, I’ve applied it to my use cases, really great!
Is there a way to sort the array returned by a formula as well? (directly or using some of the existing/new functions?)
Also I thought again about this:
it would also be convenient to have the ability to sort for Links to table as well (and indeed, multi-selects). In that case, this would need to be an option for the field, not via a function.
If you (hopefully) consider implementing the display order in the Links to table at some time, rather than add a specific option, a natural way to do it could be via the advanced option “Limit to (a certain) view”, and using the same sorting order as the referenced view, if any. Thank you.
@olgatrykush Amazing work with the array_unique, thanks a lot!!!
Hey @Yam, thanks! I’ll check with the team about sorting again ![]()
Hey @Yam, we discussed your feedback with the team and decided to implement both of your suggestions. Here are the issues to track the progress:
