I see some movements, but don’t understand what exactly which status and weight means) Say, does 767000 mean that the feature is going to come in the next update?
Hey @Alexander, developers choose their next tasks from the top of the list, where tasks have the highest weight (higher weight=higher priority). But it’s difficult to say when a feature will be ready, even if it’s a top priority, let’s say on page 1-3. This is because new features are constantly being added, bugs need fixing, and the list order keeps changing.
Hi @olgatrykush, if I understand well this issue, I too would be very interested with the feature. I for instance have a “new movie” form (to enter a new movie in a “movies” table, linked to a “movie_genres” table, and I would like the form user to select the genre and sub-genre of the movie, by first selecting the genre, and then having a second dropdown containing only the subgenres in the pre-selected genre. Is that what the gitlab issue is about, or is it already possible in some way?
Hi @olgatrykush !
It looks like this ticket got lost in the process, I couldn’t find it in the board:
This is a must-have feature, many use cases are rendered impossible because of it and competing solutions (Airtable obviously, but also Coda, Teable, …) all have it.
Is its release imminent?
As community members, how could we boost its priority? Could you help us?
Can I add my voice to those wishing to have the view filter available on the form please. (As per Alexander’s post above.) This is an extremely useful function.
Imagine you have linked table that anyone can add to, which also appears on a form. You want to set a flag to approve that row before it appears in the forms list. The only way to do this is to be able to filter at the form as far as I can see.
Very keen to see this capability added as I used it a lot in AirTable. Thanks!
Hey @DataGecko, we’re aware how much the community is looking forward to this feature. It was higher on the list, but some bugs were discovered along with important performance updates. We’ll address it as soon as possible
