Table VS View VS Grid

I have a table(or maybe grid?), that has 5 options: A,B,C,D,E

And then I create a view(or maybe grid?), can I show only 2 options, like A&B?

As I understand, view is the filter version of a table, but right now, when I want to show only few options, this is not possible .

right now, i changed RBAC settings, so it works.
