Total Baserow newbie playing with AI - all I get is network error?

I have about ten minutes of experience with Baserow…

I saw the AI button and thought I’d get it to give me a good start on my project, but when I try it seems to start working then time out with network errors.

For instance, I prompted it with

I need to make a bathroom cleaning log.
The database should have four tables.
The store table has columns for store number and town.
The bathroom table has a linked column for town, a bathroom number, and a bathroom location.
The employee table has a name column and an initials column.
The cleaning table has a date-time column, a linked colum for employee initials, and a linked column for bathroom number.
I need a form to create a new cleaning event.
I need a report that shows the last three cleaning events for each bathroom.

Is that too complicated a request? Should I be doing this in sections? Is the AI not ready for complete projects?

Feedback welcome.

In the meantime I guess I’ll try to figure it out like a cave man.

Hello @furicle, welcome to the Baserow community

I just tried the same prompt, and it worked for me. Here’s a database Kuma generated in about a minute:

Do you use a SaaS version?

Well that’s interesting

I’ve just signed up, so I’m on the 14 day demo account or whatever they called it. Perhaps there are limitations on that to prevent abuse. I gather you have a full cloud hosted account?

It looks like it’s doing what I was hoping it could do, for you. :-/

Hey @furicle, I don’t think there are any limitations for new users. And Kuma is a free feature, so it should work. I tried on baserow.io and you? Are you self-hosting Baserow?

Interestingly, now that I went back to view the AI panel, it DOES show that it completed, and has similar output to your screen shot.

Huh. Well, looks like I’ve got my starting point.

Thanks for confirming it should work and I’m not completely confused.
