Two-way table sync in between databases

Smartsuite has a really useful feature, called a Linked record field. It’s a two-way table sync across databases within a workspace. It makes master data management simpler, especially for a larger scope solutions with many cross-process relationships.

Is there something that would prevent Baserow expanding the current one-way table sync towards something like this?

To me, it would add value. Having only a one-way sync available with partially limited field types, sometimes feels a bit artificially restrictive.

But how do others see the need and added value for a two-way table sync? Or is there a better way to frame / approach the problem it solves?

I included a link to the feature docs. I hope that’s okay. I’m not a fan of their current feature paywall, though.

Two-way table sync would be amazing!

Hey @LasseK, we recently implemented two-way data sync with PostgreSQL, and I think there’s also a plan to expand this to Baserow tables. I’ll double-check with the team. :raising_hands:
