When user without permissions to edit fields clicks the field UI - the place where there normally is an edit icon (aka the chevron) - the UI displays an error message:
This is rather frustrating and does not inspire confidence, especially for “client access” .
@olgatrykush It would be great to know if this is a relatively easy fix for the Baserow team.
This may be super frustrating for beginners as this seemingly pops up “out of nowhere” when users just click around. or try to resize columns.
We primarily encounter this for the “Editor” role (which does not allow for modifying the field settings).
