Unable to publish, timeout?

What are the exact steps to reproduce this issue?

Click the publish button and watch it progress to 100% and then fail. Please try again later. I have never gotten it to publish.
I have a rather large and complex build and I suspect the compiler times out. I also do not see any way on the free tier to download the workspace. Is that possible? How do you get it into a self-hosted install?

Am I correct in my assumption that the compiler times out or is there something else that could prevent me from publishing? I have made sure there are no errors or loose ends in the build.

Would you mind sharing (in private) with me your your workspsace or the export of the application so I can make some tests?

Otherwise, check your formulas for an invalid one, it’s usually the problem when publishing fail.

It could be a timeout if the publishing takes more than 5 minutes but is it the case?

I went through all formulas and data sources etc. before publishing and everything seems happy but there is a lot and it’s always possible I skipped one. How do I privately share the project with you?

Good morning @lukaspanic! Would you mind sending that workspace export to @jrmi via a direct message? You can do so by:

  • Navigating to his profile.
  • Opening a new “Message” at the top-right of his profile
  • In the editor there’s an ‘upload’ button to add your workspace export

Hi, sorry for the delayed response. I had some issues with the messaging.
The failure occurs after much less than 5 mins so it doesn’t seem to be a timeout.
Trying to install that workspace from an exported .zip on my self-hosted server points to a button with id 1555315 as the culprit. With it’s text color being ‘Warning’ I know it has to be a delete button on either the bill-of-materials page or on new product series or new material category pages. I didn’t find anything.
Also I just realized I can’t upload the file, filetype not authorized.
