Unable to Submit Forms in Baserow.io (Not Self Hosted)

Hello,

I am having an issue when it comes to forms in Baserow, essentially what I use this form for is an internal Checklist to assist with compliance when working on specific tickets, it helps people make sure that the correct steps have been followed to reduce errors.

The issue I am running into is that whenever someone tries to submit the form, On the top right-hand corner the error “Action Not Completed. The action couldn’t be completed. Because an unknown error has occurred.”

I am unsure what is causing this problem, The structure of the database is relatively simple (I Think),

The Exact structure of each column is as follows:

  • ID (Autonumber, just makes it easier to search for completed lists)
  • Single Select
  • Single Select
  • Short Line Text
  • Boolean
  • Boolean
  • Boolean
  • Boolean
  • Single Select
  • Long Text (Marked as Optional)
  • Boolean

I have a feeling it could be an incorrect use of something, but I am not sure, the Booleans are just used to act as a Checkbox for “Yes, this has been done”, Any help on this would be appreciated, this system has proven to extremely useful for us, I’d rather be able to keep it working.

I am new to using Baserow, so there is probably something I am missing.

Edit: Unsure if this is useful, but the issue occurs if you use a private link, preview, or if the Long text has been filled or not.

Hi @Backslash, unfortunate that you are running in to this problem but hopefully we can get this resolved for you asap.

Could you share some details of how you have set the form up in Baserow and then an example of how you filled in that data when submitting it that resulted in the error shown? This will help narrow down the possible causes.

Hi @cwinhall ,
Sorry for the late response- I am more than happy to go into detail however as I type this it seems to have just suddenly started working again.

This seems to be typical for me, as soon as I reach out for support it just suddenly starts working.
Not a dig on baserow, I just find it very amusing

If anything happens again I will reply to this, but so far it looks to be working perfectly fine.
