Update on Baserow Cloud automation limits

Over the past few days, some of you unexpectedly reached the new automation limits in Baserow Cloud. The hard limit was enabled earlier than intended, and we recognize that this wasn’t the experience we wanted to create.

To give everyone time to understand the new usage model and prepare their workflows, we’ve temporarily changed the hard limit to a soft limit. This means you’ll still receive usage notifications, but your automations won’t stop running while we complete the rollout. We’ll communicate in advance when we plan to reintroduce the hard limit.

Here’s how automation credits work:

  • Every time an action in your automation is executed, 1 automation credit is consumed.
  • Your monthly usage depends on both how many actions your automations execute and how often they run.

Automation credits are allocated per workspace, not per user. Your monthly allowance depends on your plan and is shared across everyone in the workspace:

  • Free: 2,000 automation credits
  • Premium: 100,000 automation credits
  • Advanced: 500,000 automation credits
  • Enterprise: 2,000,000 automation credits

When your workspace reaches 80% of its monthly allowance, you’ll receive an in-app notification so you have time to review your usage or upgrade your plan.

Automation credits apply only to Baserow Cloud. If you’re self-hosting Baserow, automation usage remains unlimited.
