Usage Meter Inconsistent

A few questions about the usage chart in the dashboard: I have the advanced plan.

Page view usage is what? I would assume it is page views of applications built with application builder, which should be much higher than 0.

Applications user usage? I have 13 application users. Not sure where 30 comes from. This appears to be over the limit of 15. Is this a problem?

Hello @danielgoad, sorry for the delayed reply.

We’ve actually published documentation explaining each of the usage metrics in the dashboard: Workspace usage | Baserow documentation

To answer your questions directly:

Page views usage: This metric is intended to track page views of published applications built with the Application Builder. However, page views are not being counted yet, so it’s expected that the value is currently 0. The metric is visible in preparation for a future update.

Application user usage: This metric counts external application user accounts across all user sources in your published applications. If the same person exists in multiple user sources, each account is counted separately, which is why the number may be higher than the number of unique users you expect.

The current limit of 15 shown in the dashboard is a legacy value and is not enforced, so seeing 30/15 is not a problem and won’t affect your applications or users. This will be updated as we roll out the new application user limits.

Once everything is finalized, we’ll make an official announcement before any changes take effect. There will also be a soft limit period, giving you time to understand how the new limits work, monitor your usage, and upgrade your plan if needed before any limits are enforced.

I hope that clears things up!
