Usage questions

Are you using our SaaS platform (Baserow.io) or self-hosting Baserow?

SaaS

What do you need help with?

For Application user usage: does this mean the self-made user database (like a table we create ourselves)? If so, how many users are allowed under the Advanced plan?

My goal is just to keep internet bots and trolls from spamming fake entries on public forms. Having actual users log in to see and submit forms would solve that. But if the number of users is very limited, that won’t work for my project. I’m building a fan database and will probably need at least a hundred users (or more) to sign up and submit items.

Please note: I’m not a company, just an individual. I can’t afford to pay per user. If that’s how your system works, I’d need advice on another solution, since I don’t know how to self-host.

Also, is the row limit applied to the entire workspace or to each individual database inside it? For example, if I have one workspace called “Bob,” and inside that I have three databases (“Bob’s Burgers,” “Bob’s Bananas,” and “Bob’s Bongos”) — do they share the 250,000 row limit total, or does each database get 250,000 rows?

Please attach screenshots or videos if they help illustrate your question.

Hi @Iokaar, please check this thread where we’ve shared the basics of how the application builder pricing will work in the future: Billing for application users - #17 by jrmi.

Please note that the business model hasn’t been finalized yet.

I’ve reviewed the article you suggested. It looks like I’ll need to find a different solution instead of using a member-type login to view forms for my non-profit project—which is a shame, since I spent a lot of time linking everything.

That aside, I wanted to clarify my earlier question: is the 250,000 row limit applied per workspace or per database?

It is per workspace
