Where to add OpenAI API key on self hosted?

I have a Premium license and self hosting.

My workspace in the left menu bar does not have settings.

Hi @beached,

I am not sure why you don’t see the settings option there.

Are you running the correct Baserow version that has the AI features?

Besides the workspace settings, you can also use env vars to provide the key:

BASEROW_OPENAI_API_KEY=
BASEROW_OPEN_AI_ORGANIZATION=
BASEROW_OPENAI_MODELS="gpt-4-turbo-preview"

I think that for the new versions (develop latest and 1.27) you have to first choose your workspace and then click “home” in the left sidebar - and only then click the drop down menu from the “dashboard” view, not from the left sidebar.

I was using an old version of Baserow and didn’t realise. All fine now.

@petrs now that I think of it - is that a bug or a design choice, that workspace settings are not visible in the left side menu bar?
