Hello,
i have setup a field with date and set the format to Europäisch (20/02/2020). But in the field the year is not show. Where can i setup this?

Could you share a screenshot of what you’re seeing? I’m able to reproduce the issue on my end, the year shows as expected.

Sure, here is a screenshot of a table column with dates. The year is always shown only as dots. And it’s the same in all tables where a date appears. It doesn’t matter how wide I stretch the column, the year still won’t be displayed. The formatting also doesn’t matter. If I set it to ISO format, only the year is shown, and the month and the day are replaced with ‘…’."
Hi Mike, this is happening because the column width of your date field is not long enough and so it is truncating the text. If you expand the columns width (by clicking and dragging the column seperator on the right further right), you will notice the rest of the values will show.
no, that doesn`t matter. here in the screenshot you see that i pulled the collum far away but nothing happens
That is even more strange. What happens when you create a new row and you double click in the date field to use the date selector tool and pick todays date for example?
if i click that the caledarwidget appears. Then i click a date, for example todays date, in the row the date shows like in the screenshot. I can scroll in the line as long the widget is open. When i click somewhere else to close the widget, i have alreade the same result
I’m stumped as to why this is happening for you. I cannot reproduce it on my side.
What browser are you using and could you try using a different browser or trying in incognito window to ensure maybe some plugins are not causing this issue?
Additionally - what happens to these values if you change to a different format? (US or ISO)
Lastly - what version of baserow are you running and is it from the main branch or a forked version of the baserow project?
OH man, thanks. it seems Firefox have issues with baserow. Even in incognito window is the proble. In Chrome or Edge it looks fine. Great, I could have figured that out myself.
It is likely that it is a zoom setting on youre Firefox causing this. Most likely is the Zoom text only option. If you try disablign this, it may fix the issue.
