Hi there! ![]()
Welcome to the latest Baserow Community Digest — a quick roundup of what we’ve been working on, what the community is building, and some useful new resources.
In this edition:
- Sneak peeks at what’s currently in development
- A community-built Color field
- The updated No-Code Landscape 2026
- New modules in Baserow Academy
Let’s dive in ![]()
Sneak peek: Go to node & Button field
A couple of things we’re working on next:
Go to node
The new Go to node lets workflows loop back to an earlier step when a condition is met — opening up use cases like conditional retries and while loops.
BTW: The Go to node is currently available on Baserow Cloud and is coming to self-hosted soon.
Button field
The Button field will let you trigger actions directly from your database, such as opening a URL, creating, updating, or deleting a row, and combining multiple actions.
We’re also working on:
Inbound email trigger
Stop a running workflow
Improved API key management
Response node
Raw formula support
Undo/redo for data sources, user sources, integrations, and workflow actions
Dashboard grid improvements
More soon ![]()

A Color field built by the community
A community member has built a native ‘Color field type’ plugin for Baserow.
It lets you store colors as data, with support for hex values, color picking, copy and paste, sorting, filtering, and API access.
The plugin is open source and can be installed on a self-hosted Baserow instance.

A great example of the community extending Baserow to fit a specific workflow.
The No-Code Landscape 2026 is updated
We’ve updated our No-Code Landscape with 114 no-code tools across 10 categories.
This year’s edition adds two new categories reflecting how AI is changing the space:
AI-Native Builders
AI Agents & Intelligent Automation
You can compare tools by category, use case, free plan availability, open-source support, self-hosting, AI capabilities, and more.

New directories: collaboration & project management
We’ve also created two new interactive directories to help you compare tools for getting work done.
100 Best Collaboration Tools
Explore 100 collaboration tools across categories like team communication, video meetings, scheduling, customer support, social media, and more.
Compare them by what they’re best for, AI capabilities, free plans, and pricing.
50 Best Project Management Tools
Compare 50 project management tools across different use cases, from general project management to software development, enterprise planning, and more.
See what makes each tool unique, whether it offers a free plan, and how it fits different project management needs.
New in Baserow Academy
We’ve added two new modules to the Advanced learning path:
Workflow Automations
Baserow AI
A good next step if you want to go beyond the basics and build more advanced workflows with Baserow.

Keep your options open
Some things bend. Your options should stay open.
If you’re using Airtable and want to explore your options, you can test-import your Airtable base into Baserow without changing the original.
It’s an easy way to see how your data works in Baserow before making any decisions.

If you’ve built something interesting with Baserow, share it with us — we’d love to feature it in a future edition.
Warm regards,
The Baserow Team
