In the USA, beginning this afternoon (PST), I have been unable to access my portal. I am using baserow as the host. Continue to receive ‘server error.’ Tried multiple browsers … My url is: https://lmmrrc.baserow.site/login
Hi @RobMagu, I’m sorry to hear that. What time was that exactly? The only thing that I can see in our logs is that at 01:12 CEST / 16:12 PST we received a lot of API requests from one single user in a short period of time. That could have caused our servers to slow down or unable to handle new requests. We’ll investigate more from our side.
Would you be able to specify more details on the server error? All additional information is welcome. It would also be useful to learn about the exact time you received that error, and how long it took before you were able to access your portal again.
The current time in San Diego, CA. USA is 0730AM and I continue to get this error. It started sometime yesterday. I have tried multiple browsers on different devices. I also re-published the application, but it is still not available
Hey @RobMagu could you try to clear your cookies for this site and tell me if it changes something?
Cleared the cookies and still get the same error. This error appears on different computers using different browsers. Is it possible you can clear out my entire directory where the site is hosted and I’ll republish? I have looked through the application and even tried changing the initial path and I continue to get the same error. It all worked perfectly up until a couple of days ago. Thanks
I created a simple ‘test’ application at: Test and if I try to go directly to that, I get the same server error. In fact if I go directly to the URL of any of my pages, I get the same error. Can you see: Test?
If I share a 'view; from the database and go to that URL, it works. For example: All Members // Baserow.
Yeah I can, I can also see your other website… That’s really strange.
Is the preview of your website working?
Yes, preview works …
Ok, I tried from a windows PC and it works. It does not work from any Mac based device (mac/iphone/iPad it appears. At the bottom of the screen there is a link that says ‘nuxt’. If I hit it, I am taken to: https://nuxt.com/ … does this mean anything to you guys? Not sure what this is?
More information … worked for about an hour on the windows PC, but now it no longer works. I get the same server error now. I have no idea what is causing it.
Yeah nuxt is the server used to generate the page. It’s because the error it’s generated by Nuxt. But it doesn’t help to understand the error unfortunately.
it’s getting stranger and stranger
For me the websites are still working, and I’ve tried with firefox, chrome and on my computer(linux)/phone(android)…
FYI when you republish it it clears the old website, but as it’s working sometimes I don’t think it’s a publishing issue.
By any chance, do you remember precisely when it stopped working?
Also could you try with a brand new application and a new domain to see if you have the same issue?
I am guessing that it stopped working on my windows PC around 0730 PST (1430 GMT). Also, I created a new site on a new domain and thus far it is working … the URL is: https://patterson.baserow.site
I meant for your main site the first time?
Could you duplicate the application with your full website and publish it with another domain?
If it works, delete the domain in the initial application and create the same domain in the duplicated one and publish your application to see if it changes something?
I am guessing the initial failure was 7/24 around 0715 Pacific Time (USA), but it is just a guess.
Ok, I duplicated site and it appears to be working … I will monitor it for now. I appreciate all your help with this!!
Will still need to investigate what happened. Let me know if it breaks again.
Broke at 0814 PST! The initial page is a login page (login). I changed the redirect upon successful login from welcome to welcome. I republished the site (successfully). I refreshed the page and it gave me the server error …
Could you try with a browser private session because whe have that bug with cookie sometimes when site are republished and may be it’s another problem now
