Hello-hello!

It’s been another exciting year, and today we’re looking back at the highlights from the Baserow Community in 2024!

2024 Community highlights

We are grateful to every community member, partner, ambassador, subscriber, and follower in the Baserow community. Thank you to all 7,800+ of you across all our social media platforms—an incredible 100% growth from last year!

This year’s achievements come directly from your engagement—through questions, feedback, contributions, and tips. We appreciate every way you’ve connected with us and helped shape Baserow’s journey.

Community accomplishments from 2024

  • Together, our community resolved over 900 topics and generated nearly 5,000 posts in the forum alone.
  • You created over 80 videos on YouTube covering Baserow introductions, comparisons, and tutorials for building various solutions.
  • We received two complete language translations—Polish and Korean—from our community members, who completed and now maintain these translations.
  • We launched the Baserow Academy, our comprehensive learning platform designed to help users master Baserow’s features and capabilities.
  • We launched Baserow’s developer challenge, and we were amazed by the incredible apps you created with Baserow. The winning submission—a PDF generator—demonstrated how open source enables our community to build on top of Baserow.
  • We hosted our first in-person meetup in Paris, giving us the wonderful opportunity to meet our community face-to-face.
  • Our Ambassador program expanded to 20 leaders worldwide who run Baserow chapters, organize local events, create educational content, and promote Baserow in their regions.
  • We delivered your top three most-requested features — Advanced triggers for webhooks, Better number formatting, and Copying the same value into multiple cells. In total, we completed 8 releases and shipped over 180 features this year.
  • We launched the beta version of Application Builder, expanding Baserow beyond databases into a complete no-code solution. Thanks to your feedback, we’re very close to moving Application Builder out of beta.
  • We did partnerships with AppSmith, SureTriggers, and toddle to showcase how integrating Baserow with these platforms can enhance your workflow and expand its capabilities.
  • We were thrilled to read over 60 new reviews from you, each one highlighting how Baserow has helped you succeed.
  • We were amazed by all the Baserow creations you shared throughout the year. Seeing your projects come to life confirms we’re heading in the right direction.

Community progress report: our promises to you

Here’s how we delivered on three key improvements we promised last year:

We released video tutorials for all important Baserow features, including Database and Application Builder modules. Plus, we launched a Baserow Academy to help you become more proficient with Baserow.

:two: More practical understanding of how to use certain features.

Throughout 2024, we conducted over 10 webinars that served both newcomers and experienced users, showcasing how to build specific solutions with Baserow for various use cases.

:three: Hackathons and events for the community to collaborate and build together.

We completed the first Baserow Developer Challenge and were amazed by your creations. Now, we’re planning the Application Builder Challenge with a great prize pool to see what interfaces you can build with Baserow. Subscribe so you don’t miss the announcement!
