Formula to get row_id from linked field without a lookup

It’d be great to have something working like this:

row_id(field('Linked Field'))

So that I don’t need to create a row_id formula in that linked table and then needing to use a lookup field. Instead just having a single formula.

Would be nice

This may go hand in hand with Enable sorting / filtering by row identifier ?

Hey @360Creators, I have one question about this use case: if the linked field contains multiple records, should row_id() return the IDs of all linked records or just the first one?

When Allow multiple relationships, then yes all linked records. If I would then want the first one, I would probably combine it with first().
