Hi everyone,
I’ve recently started using Baserow to manage my project data, and I’m really impressed with how flexible and user-friendly it is! However, I’m hoping to take things a step further by automating some repetitive data entry tasks, and I could use some guidance.
Here’s my scenario:
- I’m managing a database of client information that includes contact details, project timelines, and task assignments.
- New client data often comes in through Google Forms submissions or via emails.
- I’d like to automate the process of adding this new data into my Baserow database to save time and reduce manual errors.
I’ve heard that tools like Zapier, Make (formerly Integromat), or direct API integrations can be helpful for this. However, I’m not very experienced with setting up these kinds of workflows.
Specifically, I’d like to know:
- What’s the best way to connect Google Forms to Baserow for automatic data updates?
- Are there any pre-built templates or step-by-step guides for this kind of integration?
- Can Baserow handle conditional logic during data import (e.g., checking for duplicates before adding new rows)?
- If using the API is recommended, are there any beginner-friendly tutorials or resources to help me get started?
I also checked this: https://community.baserow.io/t/build-a-custom-cms-using-baserow-and-integrate-it-with-make-and-webflow/qlik
I’m open to suggestions for other tools or methods that might work better. Also, if anyone has faced a similar challenge, I’d love to hear how you solved it!
Thanks in advance for your help.
