  • How do I submit a feature request in Baserow?

To submit a feature request, create a new post in the Feature Ideas category of the Baserow community forum.

    Please describe:

    • The problem you’re trying to solve
    • How the feature would help your workflow
    • Any examples or use cases
  • How does Baserow review and prioritize feature requests?

    Our process works like this:

    1. Community submission – Users submit ideas in the Feature Ideas category.
    2. Internal review – About twice a month, the team reviews new requests.
    3. Decision update – We publish updates on whether a feature is accepted or not.
    4. Backlog – Accepted features are added to our internal backlog.
    5. GitHub issues – Roughly once per quarter, we create GitHub issues if they don’t already exist.
    6. Prioritization – We prioritize based on:
      • Number of requests and votes
      • Community feedback
      • Product vision and roadmap alignment
  • How can I increase the chances of a feature being implemented?

If a feature already exists as a topic:

    • Leave a vote
    • Add a comment explaining your use case

This helps us understand what the community needs most. Highly requested features are prioritized more strongly.

  • Why doesn’t Baserow give ETAs for most features?

If a feature isn’t actively in development, giving an estimate is very difficult. New requests, bug fixes, and technical constraints can always change priorities.

The best way to help is to share your request or vote/comment on existing ones — this signals real demand and helps us prioritize faster.
